Kammari Jamir 'Kimmi' Calderon, (born 14th April 2037 in Porus, Jamaica) is an English international, who plays at centre-half. Calderon was part of the England team that lifted the Euro Nations League in 2059.
Calderon was born to a Jamaican father, and an American-Jamaican mother. Growing up as a teenager in Jamaica, Calderon had aspirations of being a baseball player, and only reportedly turned to football at the age of 13. Calderon started playing in the local leagues, and excelled as a central defender, standing at over 6 feet tall since the age of 11.
Calderon started his youth football career at Montego Bay United, however, it was while playing for Greenvale United's reserve team, in the Jamaican second division that he was spotted by scouts from English Premier League side Arsenal. He was promptly signed up on a youth contract, and bought to London in 2053.
It would not be until February 2055 that Calderon would make his first team bow for Arsenal, coming on as a substitute in a cup defeat to Manchester City. As the 54/55 season progressed, Arsenal had few choices in defence, and a young Calderon ended the season with 13 appearences in all competitions.
Calderon featured for Jamaica at Under 18 level, however, qualified to play for England through a paternal grandparent. Calderon soon started pushing for a spot in England's Under 21 squad, and eventually broke through, making 30 appearances at youth level for England before his 22nd birthday.
Between 2055 and 2057, Calderon, now further down Arsenal's pecking order, spent two seasons on loan at Shrewsbury, enduring relegation to League 1 in his first season. Calderon would make 79 league appearances for the Shrews. At the end of his loan spell in 2057, Calderon pledged his future to English football, and decided to make himself available to feature for his adopted nation at full international level, ruling out Jamaica and USA in the process.
Despite making a slow start back at Arsenal, Calderon was a first-team starter by mid-2059, making his full England début by September against Iceland in Reykjavik. It would be in December 2059 that Calderon lifted the Euro Nations League with England, featuring as an unused substitute in the final against Germany. Calderon's only goal for England to date would come in 2062 against Portugal in the World Cup Second Round. At current, Calderon has 44 caps for England, featuring at two major tournaments.
